It has been tough with ongoing remodelling. Stuff is everywhere and Home advisor's recommendation based contractor is an ass.
That said, the whole weekend has been spent doing things that I don't know how to do.

Next hour long research on the net led to it being identified as Black Rat Snake. ( I may be wrong).
Read up more on black rat snake and decided not to kill it. Knives of multiple shapes, sizes and lengths and multiple guns had been readied. That included an AR15. The armament was taken back into the house. Now we are deciding upon the name of our new possibly a pet.
