I actually had no idea until I read a news about how a famed Bollywood star could not crack a deal even after offering a whopping 2 crore INR for a horse. Imagine a horse owner rejecting 2 crore. Well, may be he considers that horse as his family. Even I would not sell any member of my family for even 10 crores (nobody would offer either).

Anyways, getting back to the news, the horse in question was none other than Saqab, a rare breed horse that is one of it's kind in the entire country. Named after Prophet Mohammed's horse, Saqab was just five year old when his present owner purchased him at a fair paying 14.5 lakh INR.
What makes the horse so special? Born to Pakistani Sindhi breed mother and Rajasthani sutharwali breed father, Saqab can walk at 43kmph speed and maintain a single position till it reaches the destination without disturbing the rider. Saqab has won innumerable races and has many titles to his credit.
Bollywood star, Salman Khan, is not the only one who has his eyes on Saqab. Earlier the owner had rejected a 1.11 crore offer from another famous personality.
A sad side note;
Here in America before the days of OBumer when the economy was rolling good people with money was buying up old farms. Then bulldozing the old house, barns out building etc to build their own little castle. Now for some reason they thought it to be one of their status symbol was to have an expensive lawn ornament aka as a horse. Besides all the known cost of a horse what most people don't realize is you have to ride a horse or they, hummm how to say go crazy. Now when economy was going well these lazy people would just hire someone to ride their horse in fact I had a good friend who was making a good living and even had some college gals doing this as a service. BUT now this seems to of been the first thing in these peoples budget to drop and now they don;t even give the horse proper care. What a shame!
