Monday animal photography: The large psammodromus

in animalphotography •  7 years ago

This cute little lizard, commonly known as large psammodromus (Psammodromus algirus), is very common in the Alentejo region (southern Portugal), and one of the friendliest reptiles to photograph!

This young male was photographed on the Alentejo's southwest coast ...

Hello, cutie!
I love this kind of small lizards, they are so fragile and beautiful.

Me too @kalemandra :)
Cheers!

Looks handsome 😀 there's plenty of them where i live and i usually thought they could be harmful so i always stay clear. ☺

They don't bother us if we don't bother them ... In fact, generally, they run away from us ... :)
Cheers!
