During the rest at the dacha with a friend you can meet some animals that live in the suburbs. I present to you an European hedgehog (Erinaceus europaeus). The hedgehogs sometimes go to the gardens in the cottages in search of food. Во время отдыха на даче у подруги можно повстречаться с некоторыми животными, обитающими в Подмосковье. Представляю вам обыкновенного ежа (Erinaceus europaeus). Ежи иногда заходят в сады на дачах в поисках пропитания.
Usually they are active at night. Despite their small size, hedgehogs often make a lot of noise when walking. In the dark, it can even scare when a loud rustle and sniff comes from the bushes. And this is just a small hedgehog strolling about his business. Обычно они активно ведут себя ночью. Несмотря на свои небольшие размеры, ежи при передвижении часто производят довольно много шума. В темноте это может даже напугать, когда из кустов доносится громкое шуршание и сопение. А это всего лишь небольшой ёж прогуливается по своим делам.
But one day a hedgehog came to our garden in the afternoon. And we not only heard it, but we saw it in all its glory. Gladly exclaiming "The Hedgehog has come!", We surrounded him. Hedgehog did not expect such an exuberant meeting. He was so frightened that he did not even curl up, but froze where he was found. Perhaps he was trying to pretend to be dead, he did not even blink. My friend brought him a piece of sausage. But he did not move his nose even. We were only pleased with this behavior, because he gave us the opportunity to take a picture of him.                         I'm not sure this was typical behavior. Earlier, when I met hedgehogs in the forest, they turned into a spiny ball.
