On my last trip to burgenland i found a new place where i can take pictures of ground squirrels. They are much more shy on this place but the pictures get much more authentic. Showing the animals in their real habitat. It is so much fun for me watching and taking pictures of animals like these. Especially ground squirrels, hamsters, squirrels, birds and other small animals are pretty interesting for me to take pictures of. Ground squirrels have several small holes in the grass where they live and hide.

A girlfriend of mine showed me this place in burgenland and she likes this place much more than the other ones i know. For me this is my second most popular place. Now i already know 4 places in Austria where i take pictures of these cute animals. And i am looking to find some places in Hungary too. Next year i plan to visit the Balaton lake in Hungary for some wildlife photography where you can also find these nice animals in the wild. So i will probably know another place for them soon. :-)
