Now the ground squirrels are already in their winter hibernation sleep but i am already looking forward to spring when they wake up again. I know i already showed you several pictures of the ground sqirrels this year but i find them so cute! This summer i took several pictures of them and i plan to visit them next year too because they are so cute. Here in Austria you can find them in the eastern part of Austria like Lower Austria, Vienna and Burgenland. Here i know several places when i can find them and take pictures of them. When i visit this place, i also visit a nice cake shop wher i get some nice cakes along with hot chocolate.

Because you can only take pictures of these nice animals in warm weather, it is also a very nice trip and nice to do something outside for relaxing. Yes photography in the nature is a nice compensation for a stressful day at the office. And if it is a nice day you nearly have the garantee to take some pictures of these ground sqirrels because they are pretty social and if you have enough time it is rather easy to get some nice results.

Yes they are. In winter time i think a lot about them because they are in hibernation sleep now. I still can find some ordinary squirrels but for the ground squirrels i need to wait till end of March or beginning of April to visit them once again.
