Dog training

When you get a puppy or an older dog, dog training is very important process. With training you build a relationship and you learn how to comunicate with each other. You have different courses and i decided to start training with Machi when she was 6 months old.

We went to a "kindergarten for dogs". We learned the basic orders and some nice tricks. She knows how to "sit", "park", "come here", "shake hands", "circle", "search", "roll" and some others.

On the end of the course we had a little exam and got a diploma we are so proud of! Lokal dog bakery made a very special dog cake for the schooldogs. It was gone in a second and dogs were saying "yummy in my tummy". And for the future i have big plans for her - passing the Bbh-exam, Rally obedience, K9 nose work and canicross. Super excited!

Training is a great way to bond with eachother.

Couldn't agree more! She really likes to train! And about the reward she loves all kinds of treats...but she has never been happier then when i say "good girl" when she does something right.

Cool read!

Those dogs are really fortunate. But so are the people who own them. :D

@zemiatin, couldn't agree! Have you heard of a "bully run", "bully dance" or a "hucklebutt"? When she has her "bully run" (and that's very often!), i say that's explosion of happiness.

And i'm much happier since i have her, that's for sure.

The third picture, I could interpret as Machi saying "I ate your cake, so what?" Haha!!! Nice ...

@dorth hahaha, nice one! I really like your interpretation (:

Awwwww look have so much fun there 💖💖💖 all dogs look so cute 💖💖💖💖🐶🐶🐶💖💖💖💖. And the cake look so lovly 😂💖💖💖

@platonicform, we definetly have so much fun while training...i think it's basic of a good "owner - dog" relationship. And yes, we had really nice schoolmates (:

Have a nice day always sist 😁💖💖

Your dog is so cute! And yes training is very important for the dog but more important for the "owner" to learn to understand the communication of the dog. and yet there are so many "dogtrainers" in the world who have no clue about dogs. A dog never needs punishment if he's doing something wrong. He's doing it wrong because he wasn't tought to do it right. A dog really needs the chance to understand fully what we want from him. And if dogschools are working with punishment the only thing the dog is learning that he cannot trust you. ...i hope you have a good school that works with positive reinforcement :) ...i will follow you to see more of your story with this beautiful girl.

@psionic-tremors thank you so much! I definetly agree with you. In our country most of the trainers luckyly work with positive reinforcement. But still, i whish we had another teacher...i am quite sure this one was afraid of Machi and that made her a bit nervous. It was quite difficult to work like this.
