Puppies...

The other day I arrived home at lunch time to this scene.. It looked like she had dismantled a giant pillow and she knew she’d done wrong - look at that guilty face!
Because Mae is generally a very well behaved puppy, (and she is so big!) I tend to forget that she is only 8 months old and needs brain stimulation almost constantly. This insulation (not fibreglass!) was left JUST within reach of her on her chain so she took it upon herself to move it closer and create a wee nest..

I had a huntaway x pup once, and boy he was hard work! They really do have that extra drive to be 'doing things' and if they can't work they can become destructive. I'm sure Maisy was well-satisfied with her day's work until you came home. :D
