Hi all

Here is an entry for the @juliank #animalphotography competition this week. This is a previously unpublished picture of a puffin that I took earlier in the year in Iceland at Látrabjarg cliffs. It's amazing how close you can get to them if you aren't scared of heights. I had to conquer my fear to get really close to the edge to get this shot. The things you do to get the perfect image. Hope you like him.

This is a beautiful portrait of a puffin. I have heard that some people actually fall off the cliffs while trying to take photos of puffins...

I wouldn't be surprised, it can get pretty hairy up there.
