A PAIR OF SPECKLED KINGSNAKES

in animalphotography •  7 years ago

Check out this lovely couple!

Here are some photos that I took of those Speckled Kingsnakes that we found when we were moving the sheep and goats with @grandpa-pepper recently. If you missed that one, here is the video where I find them.

This species is my current favorite, and I really enjoy the look of these snakes. You'll probably see what I mean in the photos below. I wanted to get a few good photos of them before we released them, and I think that I succeeded! Check them out.

A LOVELY COUPLE

As always, I'm @papa-pepper and here's the proof:

Some great looking photos, do they ever come into your home? Cheers mike

This is a terrible couple. But look very beautiful @papa-pepper.

Love the way the color fades down the sides! Lovely patterned snakes. :))

They really are! Thanks!

I'm so scared of snakes though they are beautiful, I don't know how you were able to carry it.
Nice shots especially the one on the floor.

I'm not much into wide life. So I do what I do best here on Steemit.
Lol today I formed my growth model for steemit

Hi @papa-pepper!
All the photos of the pair of snakes are very good and beautiful, but the first one is really special!
Is this species poisonous?

No, this is a nonvenomous species.

👍

Beautiful duo. But I am kinda scared of snakes though

DUDE that is awesome!!! I love these snakes too. When I find one I will make a post of it. So far I've only found the one water snake. I do have old pics of the Speckled Kingsnakes I caught last year.

Those old ones still count, LOL!

Saya hanya bisa melihat sekilas saja dari sekian banyak koleksimu, karena rasa takut dan geli membuat saya kurang tertarik pada binatang ini.

The combination of that color of snake is something impressive and beautiful, the truth thanks to you I have learned to lose the fear for snakes is more I would like to have one, you have given me to understand that everything is about teachings since for example look as you educate your children who are not afraid of nature that play with it and that is why you are afraid of things because cultures taught me that they were poisonous and bad but I have learned to get a certain affection, As I told you, I live in Caracas Venezuela in a forest on the outskirts of Caracas and I have seen when one of them dares to grab it and take a photo as proof for you, as always your good Venezuelan friend greets you

LOL - Thanks!

Do you know Korean rattlesnake?
It's as beautiful as that.

The species that made me a herper. I was 7.

Just looked back through it. Pretty amazing photos. Well done.

Sometimes life is strange.

  • I read your headline and had to SOL (sing out loud) "and a partridge in a pear tree..."

Love your boy's expression! haha that's great!!!

Woow ,, you @papa-pepper brave enough to play with such venomous snakes, salute me with you

I was born in the year of the Snake, according to the Chinese zodiac. BUT I don't know how I feel about them and would definitely run if I were to see one!

Never before have I heard "lovely couple" being used for describing a pair of snakes.

Still don't like them as much as you do, I think 8-).

Awesome photos, @papa-pepper! Is this a pair? Perhaps down the road, you will have little snakes to photograph...

Hello @papa-pepper, I viewed your video and I found out how amazing you are. I actually first noticed the wound in your hand that is bleeding if I'm not wrong and I felt sorry for that 🙁 But then, I can feel how happy you were in doing those things, you looked very expert in the video , keep it up and thanks for sharing it to us 🙂
