I Love Toucans

This beautiful Toucan just flew into the tree outside and started his calling song that is so loud and distinctive. They are so big and so wonderful with their crazy big beaks and vibrant colors. It is always a joy to watch, listen and take photos. All bird life here is beautiful but I can’t help but have an even bigger soft spot for these incredible characters.

This is what they sound like. I made this video a few months back.

These were taken using my Canon PowerShot SX60 HS

Wow. That is something you don't see often or at lest never where I am from. Where are you from that a toucan is just there? Really neat. Best thing you might see around here is a falcon or maybe eagle unless your think chickens are cool.

Thanks for your nice comment. I am in the jungle in Costa Rica. The wildlife is just magical! We have chickens too and they are very cool. Feisty ladies that can see off a big dog but they are gentle enough to crouch down to be picked up when it’s time for bed . ☺️
