During my visits to zoos throughout Europe, I have always tried to photograph the animals to look like in their natural environment. I did the best at the Prague Zoo. Perhaps I had the opportunity to take this otter several times, but I never saw her swim in the water. One day when the weather was cold and almost nobody in the zoo was a happy otter swam in her pool. I did not hesitate for a second, set the camera to the parameters you can see below and take a few shots. And I have to say that with the age of eight years I like this picture more and more.

Při svých návštěvách zoologických zahrad po celé Evropě jsem se vždy snažil fotografovat zvířata, aby vypadala jako ve svém přirozeném prostředí. Nejlépe se mi to dařilo v Zoo Pražské. Třeba tuto vydru jsem měl možnost fotografovat několikrát, ale nikdy jsem jí neviděl plavat ve vodě. Jednoho dne kdy počasí bylo chladné a v zoo skoro nikdo nebyl si vydra spokojeně plavala ve svém bazénku. Neváhal jsem ani vteřinu, nastavil fotoaparát na parametry, které můžete vidět výše a udělal pár snímků. A musím říci, že s odstupem 8 let se mi tento snímek líbí čím dál víc.
