A nice home for an animal \o/

I had done this walk several times along the canal and noticed a small overhanging treehouse,i had always thought it was made by a grandparent for their grand children to play in, there was even a rope ladder that hung down below onto the towpath as if to invite someone to climb up and see what was above the trap door, the fact it was there as an invitation was really enough and i doubt anyone ever did, there was something just something that always made me smile and i suspect others also and in a strange way commanded respect for its construction :) , I was surprised last week to find the small house had a new inhabitant and as we walked past it came to look at us, i think it was a baby turkey but im not sure, it gazed out from its home through the mesh window and over the carefully planted and nicely carved window box to greet us as we passed and i swear it seemed proud of its home, and i think it should be :)
