They can take anywhere from three months to talk to one year to bond with they famley. They do well with other hand him his dogs cats in the household you just have to slowly introduced them. The best thing to do is get two of them if you don't have more than three hours a day to dedicate to the suger glider because they are very social animals. Suger gliders are nocturnal but they learn your schedule. Sugar gliders are very low maintenance and the best thing is there is poop and Pee does not have an odor to it as long as you keep them to a special diet that is provided by a company called pocket pets. can be potty trained to come out of a small satchel that you carry them in and use the bathroom on a paper towel.
