Opal on Furniture

My day job typically involves a lot of waiting. I make all the important decisions, but everyone else is just slow. So I often find a need to find the right place to pass the time. Ideally a place with just the right distractions, as well as being comfortable. People watching is usually fun, and all the better if I can chase them. Or dogs, cats or squirrels. Part of all that is finding the right furniture. I’m not always able to find something, so I have to make do with what’s available. I’d like to share my collection of furniture with all of you, and perhaps others can share their favorites as well!

Here’s one. Got a toy, and a bag. Remember my means of transportation? It doubles as a bed, if I don’t have anything else. It’s not the most comfortable, but it’s got cushion. In this photo, I don’t look too happy here, and I’m not. I’m pretty bored.

Here’s a soft doggy bed that’s nice, soft, and pink. This is my go-to bed after work and in the afternoon, when I’m in the mood for pink. Pink is the perfect pick-me-up for any mood!

Nothing says “boss dog” like an oversized beanbag coated with soft luxurious fur. Everyone is jealous, dogs and humans alike. If I don’t look impressed in this picture, it’s because the proposal I just heard was just awful. Back to square one folks, but hurry up! We have a strict deadline to meet!

At the end of the day, my favorite has to be a neatly-folded stack of fresh laundry. My parents are so kind to think of me, very thoughtful! I’d put that sock on top if I could too. The slightly elevated height and cushion is perfect for resting my head. The fresh scent of spring. Oh.. this is nice. I think I’m going to...
