I dont think you can go on about how open minded you are while saying you know the truth of things and they can not be disputed...no I do not believe the Earth is flat. However, I am always open to a well prepared argument and ready to be swayed.

That's very open-minded of you. But some use "open-mindedness" to hide the fact that they simply reject the great volume of evidence built up by science. In the end, that's not very open-minded of them.
