Some Willets by the shore on the Gulf of Mexico

Good evening all, I hope your weekend is going well. :)

Here we have a couple of Willets shorebirds near sunset.

They are fun to watch because they race down to feed when a wave recedes, then quickly back up again before the next one rolls in.

There are many shorebirds here in this southwest Florida area, the most common ones seem to be Willets, Sanderlings, and Sand Pipers. There are many others types too, depending on the time of year. Other than the occasional Seagull, Pelican or Osprey; the Willets are generally the larger birds that work the shoreline. - Enjoy

I've really come to enjoy watching birds lately myself. Their funny behaviours can be so entertaining! And here you have some nice pictures too. Beautiful birds, beautiful sunsets.
