Technology is advancing so rapidly that each day we are pushing the limits. Even with such advancement we are still unable to explore even 10% of the ocean and are still unknown to the mysteries of the abyss. The things we had discovered are fascinating. The creatures of the sea are strange and beautiful at the same time. Here are few of those strange creatures. 

Sea Cucumber

These creatures are recycles of the sea. It recycles and provides food for bacteria present in the water.

Blob Sculpins

This deep-sea creature has rarely been seen. It has a broad flattened head and the mouth is curved with big lips. The description explains the reason behind the name given to this fish.

 

Eastern Fiddler Ray

These fishes usually feed on worms and crabs and live in shallow waters near the southern coastline, Australia. These fishes are recognized by triangular shape markings near their eyes.

Giant Hatchet fish

Differing from its name just 10 cm in size, this fish is a deep sea creature. Just like a firefly, it also emits light. A special organ under its belly used as a defense mechanism to confuse predators.

Red-Lipped Batfish

A fish that wears lipstick is the best description of this fish. It Lives all its life on the sea floor feeding on smaller creatures.
