YAY! How awesome is this!?
Today I got a gift from the Universe. A couple of toads. I was out here today getting some work done on our house. I started moving the debree pile when I found these little guys. I'm like, how awesome is this right!?
You ever have one of those days where you've been feeling pretty shitty? You know, you are all stressed out about life and shit? You know, survival mode?
Today was one of those days...
But then all of a sudden, I flipped over a big piece of drywall and Valhalla! A couple of fat and happy little toadies. Friendly little fat toads that are going to love having a nice amazing spot in our garden! I'm like, instant bipolar! I was like having a really shitty depressing day and am now so full of love, joy, and TOADS!!! YAY!!! Seriously, who doesn't love playing with toads? I DO!
One was pretty big. The other was a younger toad. I'm pretty sure both were female. They didn't chirp.
I immediately walked back to Grandma's to let the toads go.
When life gives you toads, PUT THEM IN YOUR GARDEN!!! Fuck PETA!!!
I let them both go in Grandma's Eggplants. But I'm sure they will hop around exploring the whole garden. When the tomatoes start fruiting and those big green worms start showing up I'm sure I'll see them out hopping around again.

Cool find. When I was a kid the neighbor hood kids and I caught one that was the size of a small basket ball. We put it in a cooler and kept on frog fishing. We caught about 20 frogs and put them in the cooler with the toad. The damn toad was eating the frogs! I opened the cooler to find frog legs hanging out of its damn mouth!

I've seen only a couple toads in my life that were that big. Big huge toads are hard to find anymore these days. That is too funny about the toad eating all the frogs LOL. I believe it! Toads can get pretty big. I believe when they get that big they will eat rodents.
