The ancestors of all the present-day walnuts (serinus canaria) are the generation of wild walnut (serinus serinus) children who can be found freely breeding in the Canary Islands and in the land of northeastern Africa. Walnut is not an avian as Canary Islands, but is intentionally introduced as a bird of the archipelago.Initially, there is a ship with a number of cages laden with shipwrecks near the island and a sailor releases the birds in order not to die drowning. Many of these birds land on nearby islands and there they find plenty of food and climates suitable for breeding.

When the Spaniards knew about the canaries, they began to catch the canaries and touched them.

Walnuts become valuable pet birds and soon become popular, especially when yellow, brown and red cannabis varieties are created.
