Four days ago I realized that Mom was ready to give birth.
So we decided to put it in a clean stall on its own, away from prying eyes. Pony's mom worked well and is very attentive to his little suckling milk.
The first 48 hours are the most critical, because the baby must drink the colostrum. colostrum is the first breast milk, it is critical because it contains all the basic antibodies to the baby.
