We tend to be very careful and make sure that our pets are well and well cared for, although we often see them doing weird things. It is part of the charm of having an animal. But there is a strange behavior, although apparently innocuous, that could be the sign of something VERY SERIOUS.

It's called head pressure.

When the animal presses its head against walls, doors or objects for no apparent reason, it may be the way your pet is telling you that something is very wrong.

3.jpg

It may mean that you have prosencephalon disease; a toxic poisoning, infections, and tumors that affect the nervous system of the animal.

4.jpg

This dog is pressing his head as a result of hepatic encephalopathy caused by liver toxicity.

5.jpg

Other neurological disorders manifest in this way.

6.jpg

Metabolic disorders, inflammation of the brain and spinal cord, can cause brain damage.

We advise you to inform yourself more about this situation that your animal can manifest and, above all, if you see it that way, to take it immediately to the veterinarian.

The world’s rarest coffee, Kopi Luwak, comes from Indonesia where a wildcat known as the luwak lives. The cat eats coffee berries and the coffee beans inside pass through the stomach. The beans are harvested from the cat’s dung heaps and then cleaned and roasted. Kopi Luwak sells for about $500 for a 450 g (1 lb) bag.
