Is a Viral YouTube Video Proof of Dead Sea Monster?

Is this Video Proof of a Dead Sea Monster's Remains?

Is this an undiscovered sea monster or viral YouTube hoax? You decide, Steemians!

Last Friday at Georgia's Wolf Island National Wildlife Refuge, Jeff Warren recorded footage of what he described as a “Loch Ness-type thing.” Watch the video above, and then show some love to Savannah Morning News & savannahnow.com by giving it a thumbs-up on YouTube.

The video depicts a creature which bears an uncanny resemblance to a classic Nessie-style sea serpent, not unlike the local Georgia cryptid known as the Altamaha-ha. Others are claiming that the subject of the viral video is nothing more than the decayed body of a basking shark or frilled shark.

Unfortunately, the corpse went suspiciously missing, meaning there won’t be any scientific testing done on the sea creature’s corpse any time soon.

I personally think that the creature in the video seems quite small, though there aren't any real objects in the video to compare it against for a size reference. Just because it might be small doesn't rule out the possibility it could be a monster however, surely there have to be baby Nessies and krakens too, right?

What does Steem think? Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what YOU think the mysterious Georgia sea creature is.
