THE NEXT GENERATION - AND THINGS LIKE THIS ARE CRAZY

Check these cuties out!

As usual, things are interesting and entertaining around here. Recently, Runaway the rabbit had her next litter of baby bunnies! The cover photo is of a couple of them.

THIS IS SO COOL!

We are still awaiting our first quail egg hatch, but the process has already started in the incubator. This is a really interesting experience on so many levels. Just think about it! Anytime we want to have more Muscovy Ducks, Chickens, Guinea Fowl, Quail, Sheep, Goats, or Rabbits, we can make more on our own!

Speaking of Guinea Fowl, our mama Guinea is still sitting. In about the next two weeks we should see the little keets hatch. With the help of @matthewtiii and @vcelier we purchased our first Guinea Fowl keets, but now we may never need to buy any ever again!

This not only opens up possibilities with us for our own animals, but it gives us the opportunity to bless others and possibly bring in an income too! We are still learning every day, but we are getting tons of experience, and the baby bunnies are so cute!

As always, I'm @papa-pepper and here's the proof:

Until next time…

Cool!...:)...

Will the quail not incubate themselves or is this a more successful hatch rate , cheers mike

Love the little almost fuzzballs...LOL Love when new animals are born on the homestead. I feel like the Creator is smiling on us...

If you get one more animal, you are going to have to change your name to @papa-old-macdonald.

Wow, so many animals now! You all must keep very busy!

All baby animals area adorable. The hubbie and I acquired Velvet Rex meat rabbits and have two mamas giving us regular baby batches. One of them just had a batch about two weeks ago and I can never get over how sweet they are.

aw they're so cute!
how long does it take to make a quail's egg hatch?

18 days

thanks!

howdy there @papa-pepper ..ya'll got enough going on there at the homestead! those little bunnies are so cute, those tiny little claws and that hair! That incubator is going to pay for itself many times over, great investment!

Big boss is that incubator Auto or Manual? Quail come out around day 18 they need not be turned from day 16 humidity between 55-60% at all times. If you need any advice be sure to ask my Dad @quailbreeder or myself we been selling incubators for years, (not that brand) also once everything has hatched out make sure to disinfect the whole unit we use a product called viru-kill as well as leave in the sun for a day to make extra sure all the nasty bacteria is dead, and ready for your next batch ;) Cheer$;)

My bad I see Auto Turning, so Automatic, perfect, manual incubators are tons of work the extra cash spent on auto's are worthwhile for sure!

AWWW! I rescued a baby bunny a few months ago before signing up here on Steemit or else I would of blogged it. One of our outside cats caught it and I had to rescue it. Sadly the bunny didn't make it. It lived 3 days and then it died. We think it might of been injured from the cats.

Super nice update. I love the small scale incubator. Never saw anything like it. Cant wait to see the baby Quail!!!

They're so cute! The little peppers must be having a blast with them.

I'll bet it's a lot to keep up with to learn all these new things, but hopefully they're paying off and you're getting that sense of accomplishment from learning a new skill and completing projects.

Seeing you play with the wildlife makes me happy.

Haha it's always funny when we have another bunny because I love bunny they are so cute and innocent so little like mice.

Those cute little squirts. They will probably get cuter in a few weeks!

This is very good, your farm is growing.I am very happy to see this.

Wow you have indeed raised a cute creatures! Keep it up!
