Storks have long gone. But Lilya, who we cured two years ago, came back to us. Now she sits on the roof and chases the pigeons. When she wants to eat, she goes down to the courtyard, where food is waiting for her. This is an unusual feeling when you see in the morning how a big bird with huge wings flies past your window. She brings peace and comfort to the house. We joke that Lilya is our weather vane.
