The King of the Birds: Brief Introduction. Yoruba translation included

Scientifically Peacock belongs to the Genus: Pavo, They have two kinds of Species: Indian peafowl (Pavo cristatus) and Green peafowl (Pavo muticus)

They are characteristics of colorful features. Including, black, red, blue orange. They are easy to keep as pets. The tail of a peacock can be as long as 5feet. They are mainly found in Burma, Indian, and Sri Lanka, but some people keep them as pet and this has made them to be seen at different countries in as much as the environment is conducive

Their colorful tail is fanned out in such a way as to show dominance and for mating purposes. Peacocks can fly like every other birds.

The financial cost of buying a peacock is around 35 usd-250usd. This is dependent on the age and type of the peacock 4. They can eat grains, fruits, plants, seeds, insects and small reptiles.
