White tiger is a Bengal tiger species that is one of the species listed by IUCN as an endangered species. Estimates of about 100.000 tigers from various subspecies were found in Asian mangroves in the early 1990s, but today there are only about 8.000 tigers in the wild, with about 2,000 of them Bengal tigers. And even more sadly, it's been almost 50 years have never seen a white tiger in the wild.
