Trying to think about it. Could be scary living near them. Like gangsters in the wild. Best to leave them in peace in their own territory. Are they known to attack people?

This only happens when people have food, baboons have learned to enjoy our taste in food supply. Yes they act like gangsters, leave them well alone. In reply to your question:

Oh boy they are aggressive and intelligent. Best not to have food when around them.

Never feed wildlife.... Anywhere, we ruin it for both the animals and humans. Thanks for enjoying the read and video.

Wild life is interesting but haven't had much of it,i love dogs because they are loyal and very cool animals.
Having one as a pet would really help in the home 🐕🐕🐕🐕

All animals are here with purpose, thanks for visiting @airsoftman

Water Buffalo is the most prevalent animal in my world. They are versatile and quiet. You are going love once you get to know them.

Water Buffalo so different to the Buffalo of Africa @mdominicorobin they must become quite used to people, a big animal to get to know.

Very nice post about animals they are so amazing but my favorite animal is the lion because is the jungles king very strong like others animals out there.

Big cats are all fascinating when you are able to see them in the wild, which is not very often @me2017 thanks for visiting.

Luckily on my small island we don't have any aggressive creatures. You can often see pods of bottlenose dolphins swimming and feeding or if you're lucky and up at the right hour of the night, you can catch a loggerhead turtle shuffling up the beach to lay eggs. They are both protected in the state of Georgia so it's best to let them be and just enjoy their beauty from afar

Would love to see turtles, dolphins and whales we see at this time of the year @the-witty-waiter there must be some aggressive creatures, perhaps too small to see at a glance.

Do racoons pillaging your trash bins and pet food if you don't lock up the storage closet? ;-) Trash pandas!

The animals are quite boring in the UK but we do have a pet dog and he's very cool

What happened to your foxes and squirrels @ianstevenson perhaps you are living in city life, missed some of the wild. They are there..... just hiding :)

Respect indeed Lady Joan! We landed up in a situation with them whilst on a walk in Cullinan and all that I can say is that only a fool will mess with these guys, especially when there's babies around! Fortunately our standoff worked out well! Blessings and upvoted! @joanstewart

Really scary when they bark at you and 'flip their lips', trying to avoid eye contact not to appear aggressive, whilst pretending to be a rock, fortunately they normally move on @papilloncharity

I love animals, monkeys are very intelligent

Intelligence they most definitely do have, they mimic and learn exceptionally quickly @jos3lider

Clever and quick to learn @artchielines thanks for visiting.

Here in South America we have a wide variety of domestic and wild animals, I can mention the iguanas that live in most of the trees, they are reptiles that we see all year round and lay their eggs in the month of April.

South America have some amazing wildlife @rocaxel thanks for visiting.

loving animal the have a right to live.

Thanks for visiting @january22secret

Nice post about Chacma baboon of southern africa. I am from India, in my part of world Cheetahs are the most commonly visible wild animal.

Beautiful animals in India @vsrsatish thanks for comment.

Wow what varied and exotic animals you have where you live, here in the UK and especially where I live we have foxes and badgers but they very much keep to themselves, so very rarely encountered or seen.

Your wildlife is very shy @socialmediaseo hide from humans to stay safe I suppose.

I wonder how they would act if I took off running and screaming! You sure find some amazing animals over there.

The only thing I can think of similar in my life was when I lived in South Florida and worked for a condo complex. One of my jobs was to walk the complex each day and check to see if we had any alligators in the canals that surrounded the place. I always had my heart in my throat each time I looked down into a canal.

I usually found a small one a couple of times a month and they never noticed me. The next step was to call animal control out the get them.

Then one day my boss did the task and there was a huge one right in the parking lot! After that, the job went to the maintenance guys.

Humans need to be aware of which animals originally lived on the land, then how to protect ourselves. You do hear of unusual things conflicts happening around the world with wildlife. Calling in animal control, people who know how to handle the animals without hurting them is the best solution @fitinfun

It's quite amazing that animals seem to possess a lot more sense of purpose than we humans despite the size of our brains.

Able to live off the land, little waste or greed @empress-eremmy

Wildlife in my country of residence is limited to desert animals, while again in my home country the number of spieses is big. Settling with dogs and cats in my everyday life :)

Every part of the world will have some brilliant wildlife @damiana we are more comfortable with what we know.

Nice post

First time to see them in group. It is so scary if your are closer with them they might attack you.

They will take food, we need to learn never to feed animals in the wild. Humans alter their patterns and living conditions, it is up to us to learn the rules @rubelynmacion

So many interesting facts about baboons. I am wondering if they will attack humans.

Yes, when they don't get their own way they have been known to attack, mainly for food @croxdragnel

i love Eagles, i think they are very unique. In Nigeria where i come from, we love them, and the eagle is our national symbol.

Yes Eagles are majestic birds @vicmuse

Oh they are really cute. We also have monkeys in our country. But mostly they are in the wild. We also host the smallest primate called tarsier. We used to think that tarsier is the smallest monkey in the world, but it's not a monkey afterall.

I love monkeys but I'm afraid of them because they might attack people. How I long for the day when wild animals will not be "wild" anymore. (Isaiah 65:25) 😊

Humans are the problem, not the animals @gingbabida everything has it's place.

Yes. I believe so. The ecosystem is in chaos that's why there's a problem. 😓

Omg such an interesting post. And the photos are incredible.

Thanks for kind compliment @sharoonyasir

Great post Joan! I’m sure you know by now I’m a cat lover. Felines rule in my heart. I do love all animals. But the cat is king for me 😺

Interested in all animal life @bernardtjames home pets are dogs for me personally.

Big cats draw ones attention immediately no matter which one you see, they are all beautiful.

wow,the photos are incredible, I understand how complicated it is to take photos of this type because I have tried a few times jeje

Ha ha always fun @vladoramirez thanks for visiting.

They would be tough and dangerous if you provoked or aggrevated them. But they are great creatures as are all monkeys (my favourite animal).

We need to learn how to behave when in their kingdom @thegoliath

I have not seen any baboons before and I'm not excited to see it either. There aren't many wild animals around my city, unless I go to the zoo. The only wild thing is probably the crocodile that lives in a few rivers.

The Crocodile also demands respect when entering their water/territory @fleurinna the Nile crocodile we have definitely I would not go near.

As I live in a medium sized city (about 250,000 inhabitants) I don't get to see that many animals, just the usual-dogs, cats, pigeons and occasionally an iguana or on a very bad day a snake.

City life definitely we lose touch with animals in the wild, need to travel to see them in their own habitation @gduran

this is nice post about the animals but monkey is wide here in my country

Many places have monkeys, some farmers take a strong stand against them ripping up farmlands @bodymaual
