The Donkey King is based on a donkey and his dreams for life. While we are definitely getting major Shrek feelings from the main character Mangu Mangu Jan Mangu, what struck us about the teaser is the attention to detail in the 50-second clip.
In August 2018, first look of the animated film was released, directed by Aziz Jindani, developed and produced by Lucky charm Studios and Geo Films.
Director Jindani told about that he had the idea of the film since 2003, and started working on the film in 2013 during working on his Commander Safeguard animated series.The film stars the voices of Jan Rambo, Ismail Tara, Hina Dilpazeer, Ghulam Mohiuddin and Jawed Sheikh.

The first teaser of the film was released on 20 August 2018. It is scheduled to be released on 13 October 2018 by #Geo_Films.
