YouTube also released a video 2 weeks ago explaining how any swears in the first 30 seconds will demonetise you. They also said that being demonetized doesn't affect views.... but any content creator (myself included) will tell you that's an outright lie.
So, harder to make money, harder to keep money and forcing their creators to basically act like they're on TV. YouTube got popular exactly because it wasn't TV.

Ya, all it takes is a few bad apples, ironically it's the large scale idiots like Logan Paul and his corpse footage that cause YouTube to clamp down on everyone... YouTube has allowed things to get out of hand and then everyone gets penalized... bunch of dirt sandwiches!

I was actually thinking maybe I'll look to youtube this year as another revenue stream considering what sort of video I could make and now I see this, oh well. I remember old youtube back in 2006 it was so great then, just what people actually really liked was on the top and not paid content owned by the one company that owns everything, oh well.
