A Certain Magical Index, Railgun, Heavy Object and more. He writes about 300 pages each month, all of his stories seem well researched.
Oh, when I look closely, they're referencing the fact the series is 10 years old.
Salam (Peace)
There are many Japanese authors I like, that it's hard to choose a favorite. My favorite mangaka would probably be: Eiichiro Oda. His art, story, SBS-section are filled with personality and love. He blows my mind with how simple yet well thought One Piece is.
But the author I respect more is the author of A Certain Magical Index, he doesn't draw like Oda. But maybe that's what makes him special.
Kamachi Kazuma
His stories aren't the best. I won't say A Certain Magical Index is my favorite, and I haven't read enough of Heavy Object to form a solid opinion on it. But the novel he writes is awesome.
"Takes a break from writing by writing something else."
- Kamachi Kazuma's Editor Describing Him.
At one point he released 3 different Light Novel series' each released 4 times per year... Meaning he writes around 300+ pages each month. Unlike other anime series I know where they pad out the arc so they can plan the next one, every word in his stories seem important (even the fan-service scenes), and most of the arcs are self contained.
Each volume of Index even different ones in the same-arc, use different themes, and contains a lot of different ideas and ideologies. And each of them based on a Scientific/Religious/Historical fact from our real world. I don't know how he finds time to research and write all these.
The works I liked most were short story collections like "A Simple Survey" or "Index SS2."
~ I feel that as an (hobbiyst) author, I'm too lazy ~
and makes me feel the need to write more!!
Index/Railgun World
The story of Index happens in a world where super-powers are given by science to children. But secretly there's also Magic in the same world. The hero has a power that cancels anything supernatural (even his own luck.) The story of A Certain Magical Index is about the conflict between these sides. The two spin-offs A Certain Scientific Railgun & A Certain Scientific Accelerator are about conflicts inside the science side itself.
Every character has a unique personality, you could differentiate them with the words they speak alone. Kamachi relies on symbolism a lot in his stories, so some parts might be confusing the first time you read them, and his stories rely on the imagination of the reader to connect the dots.
While the characters of index are increasingly overpowered, (I think they rival "Dragon Ball" in destructive power.) They still make sense in that Futuristic-Modern-Day world. The villains always has sympathetic side to them but Kamijou Touma always sound like the one in right all the time. Then in later volumes his "Hero" traits are questioned, explored and almost rejected by the author.
If you're reading this by some miracle:
"Thank You, From The Bottom Of My Heart"
I should Mention JS06 Too:
The man who translated all the 36+ volumes of A Certain Magical Index.
JS06, a memeber of the fan-translation group Baka-tsuki. He translates many works from Japanese to English. In index case he completes each volume +200 page in around 2 weeks after its release.
He translated all of the main series, and the sequel (New Testament) as well as some manga chapter & other related materials. Most of what I said about Kamachi Characters above was apparent to me because of the awesome translation of JS06, giving each character their suitable English expressions.
I don't have the contact info for that guy. (I'm not sure if he's a man.)
If you're reading this by some miracle:
"Thank You Very Much"
Influence on Me
While I haven't write anything similar to his works, some of my ideas are influenced by him. My first drawn work in English "The Final Enter" was partly inspired by one of Kamachi ideas...
Final Enter's Cover. (2012 | It was a good but only as first attempt.)
I wrote my first novel (in Arabic) "الفتى النمر" (Lit. The Tiger Boy) after I spent a lot of time reading Index, I gave each character an unique catch-phrase because I thought it was the best way to make them recognizable by words alone like Kamachi characters.
something that makes people smile when they read. Something that makes people think when they read.

Thanks for your upvote and the nice words. It seems you have copy/pasted this comment of yours many times. It's not a good approach to do that on steemit BECAUSE anyone can see all your previous comments.
If you're new to steemit, I'd suggest you read about how to make better comments, if your comment was better there was a chance I UPVOTE YOU (especially if it implied that you read my post.)

Truth to say, I am yet to read a book, of any genre written by a Japanese. I should probably start with Kamachi Kazuma's. I have been somewhat more into American and Indian.
You preview his works here well. Its good work.
