Gao breaking into lineman? Okay. Agon only lived past Gao and dropped the ball bearer. Perhaps even the lineman will only try to gang up Gao so that Agon can freely pass through.
Agon factor in defense and Golden Dragon Fly in attack make Shinryuji more likely to defeat Hakushu than Seibu.
The Problem: Can Other Players Shinryuji Survive?
His Agon and God-Speed Impulse can last much longer against Gao than Riku, Kid, and Tetsuma of Seibu. Gao will continue to try to capture Agon, but it will take all the matches so that Gao can finally touch Shinryuji's mainstay.
There was also the possibility that Marco would try to use him or Kisaragi as a distraction, so that Gao would be able to capture Agon from a place no man could see. (If Agon can not see her God-Speed Impulse can not work, that's why her hair can be shaved suddenly at the World Cup). But considering this Agon, doing it will not be that easy.
But if a team is short of players, the game will be stopped. The key to the Agon versus Gao duel is actually how powerful the Shinryuji lineman can survive before Gao's power keeps them all in the hospital.
If Yamabushi and his friends survive Gao until the final whistle sounds, then Shinryuji will win. The score may be thin, but Agon's help in attacking and defending will give a positive difference for Shinryuji to win and advance to the Christmas Bowl.
If Yamabushi and others can survive until the end of the game, then Shinryuji and Agon will win.
If they had already injured all the first, then even if Agon can survive long Shinryuji will still lose.
