Miriya Sterling - Robotech signed card Collectible, voice actress Edie Mirman

Miriya Sterling from Robotech was one of my favorite characters as a teenager. I loved the fact that she was the Zentraedi invading enemy who had intended to infiltrate the humans to defeat her nemesis but only to find she liked being a "micronian" and to fall in love with Max Sterling. She is an awesome pilot and a formidable warrior.

And completely random, I know I'm not the only one who thinks the Zentraedi command ship looks like that Oumuamua thing?

While I have been downsizing my comic collection I have also selectively been thinking of items I like to have. I'm putting more thought into it because due to space and clutter I only want things that I really care about.

I don't know how people think about this kind of collecting but a lot of my comics I bought just because they were trendy at the time - for instance Lady Death or some of the Gen13 books, liked the cover art (I still do this), or I thought it purely would have collectible value in the future. Of course I purchased stuff I liked the story and characters, too.

But my collection has a lot in it that fits that other criteria and I don't miss the things I sell. It makes me happy that the comic or item will make someone else happy now and I have the money earned to get something else.

Last week I wrote about Frank Frazetta and "Death Dealer." I think I would like to post once a week something from my collection of geek/nerdy things to show off. Is there a tag for this kind of thing?

Kind of like having a meetup but online to show and tell.
