[C]Hello, so I have another drawing here and this time of Sakura from Naruto. this was a request I received from someone on Instagram. Let's get to it.

Here is the finished result:

And now for the process:

I started by sketching the pose she'd be in along with all of her features quite roughly so that I could keep the image I had fresh in my mind.

Then I lowered the opacity of the sketched layer and began to draw her face, shaping her cheeks and chin somewhat. I then added her facial features, starting with her brows slightly raised and directly below her eyes, quite round. I then drew in her nose and mouth smiling.

Afterwards I began drawing her hair, starting with the front that hangs down the sides of her face and then gradually working at the back, drawing the ends of her hair flairing out slightly. I then drew in her headband on the quick.

Finally, I followed down and began to draw in her shoulders and arms, following up with the rest of the torso as I added clothes over the top as I went along.

Colouring

I started with applying each base colour to each seperate layer first and foremost, tweaking the colour's hue and such as I went along until satisfied with the colours.

After that I started to go over the base colours with a slightly darker tone, over areas that I felt would be shaded and such. I also added more details such as lips and crease lines to her clothing.

I used different shades of peachy tones to then colour her lips and used white to line areas of her top, mostly along the crease lines.

I started to shade the hair using darker shades of pink and purple colours, adding some white and then blending it somewhat until I felt satisfied with it. I finished up the hair by adjusting the saturation and making it brighter and more pink.

I adjusted the colours of each layer and added some textures to them also.

Lastly I added the background and some petal embellishment along with adjusting the brightness and saturation of said background. After that I added some shadowing behind her along with a white outline to make her pop a bit more.

Here it is finished:
