Hey guys. I've watched this anime yesterday, needed to write about it but got busy with other stuff and wasn't that inspired. Ok so I'll start by saying that it's pretty boring, the plot gets more interesting in last 5 episodes, where the story goes actually deeper rather than this long introduction. I wouldn't make this anime in episodes rather in one movie that would be around 2hrs~, anime series is 5hrs~.

It has tons of holes but it's not the point. There is kinda no background or no known future. It starts in the middle and will end in the middle. This anime wants to teach and does it in like 3-5 episodes, but in general it should be looked as a piece of art rather than story wise, because there's nothing really much to it.

This anime is like when you want to eat, you try to think of something and get a vague idea of what would be delicious to you, then you add a lot of ingredients that you wouldn't put together and try to enjoy it, in the end you got what you wanted but not sure if it was a good meal or just interesting to make and taste it, but you're still happy with the making process and that you got yourself fed XD.

The series goes by a story of unknown background, there are beings called Haibane which resemble angels in couple of ways as IMDB says "angel-like". It starts with a new being about to born and how the newborn was adapted to their surroundings and backstory of the whole place, which is very vague. As the newborns don't know anything about themselves or where they are or why they are there in the first place. The strange thing about all of it that nobody really wants to know, so they just do regular stuff before they leave the place to somewhere...

I gave this piece a 5/10 just out of respect for the job done. I pushed myself to finish it and I didn't really enjoy it, except for the last 5 episodes where for me it became interesting and a lot was revealed. Before those episodes there's just regular stuff to introduce the viewer with the situation, which is done in a very bland way.
