Why Jotaro Kujo is NOT a deadbeat character

While Jotaro Kujo is often overlooked and thought of as a boring character,  I see the complete opposite when I analyze and evaluate Jotaro.  His teenage angst and cold demeaner come from the fact that he is a young adult who d had to assume position of being the man of the house from an early age.  In the beginning season we see Jotaro in a prison cell of his own accord.  This is where his Stand - Star Platinum is introduced.  Star Platinum is an extension of Jotaro's soul so to speak that is materialized in physical form. Star Platinum has several skill sets which include: telescopic vision, hand speed that are quick and strong enough to catch a bullet shot at point blank, super strength ...  Eventually he is also able to stop time with this Stand.  Oh he also has the iconic ORAORAORAORA!!

 

Many times Jotaro has proved to be the rock of the group, when he plays Texas Hold' Em and wagers everyone's soul in the group WITHOUT even looking at his cards and forces the expert poker player to fold his hand, or having the confidence to defeat DIO when all his friends and Joseph are assumed dead.  For someone so young to go against one of the most evil forces of their universe, Jotaro is an equal to a young Joseph Joestar in my eyes.  I also found endearing that Jotaro does indeed have a heart as the story progresses and indeed looks out for each one of his friends and his mother, though he will never admit it.  Also let's be honest his one liners are always on point, Yare Yare Daze..
