Hotarubi No Mori E Movie; My Very First Heartbreaking Anime Movie

Hi everyone! This is my very first #ulog, so please bear with it, it's quite long. ^^~ Please do enjoy reading! :))

Dear Diary,

I watched an anime today. Actually I have no plans on watching it 'cause my friends had been spoiling me about the ending. It ended sadly, they said, and I kind of hate sad ending movies, it's just way too painful! ~T_T~

But in the end I decided to watch it. It's entitled "Hotarubi No Mori E" or "Into the Forest of Fireflies' Light" in english.

At first, all I did was laugh because both of them we're soooo funny. Hahahaha. They looked so cute that it actually made me want to pinch them both. 😂

This movie was short, about 50 minutes I guess, too many things happened in such a short period of time that I never have the time to breath.

(Here are some series of screenshots that I have taken. They are too cute, I can't help myself. Huhu)

(By the way, the guy wearing a mask was abandoned when he was still a baby, he was about to die back then but the mountain spirits saved him. He was saved via magic, and that's the reason why his body is too weak. He should not be touched by humans because if a human would touch him, he'd disappear.)

As you can see, everything seems going on well. But an unexpected moment came. Yes. It happened way too fast that I honestly felt my chest falling apart.

The guy... disappeared by saving a boy by which he thought a spirit. But when he touched him, his body suddenly lighten up and he started to disappear.

I couldn't help but cry. I mean WHO WOULDN'T. π_π And because of that he.. was able to hug the girl that she loves, which is Hotaru, he had always wanted to touch her, held her hand, hug her and be with her but he wasn't able to do that because the girl didn't want him to disappear, until it happened. I thought with just some 'woosh' the guy would come back. But he didn't, he vanished completely, leaving the girl behind.

(This is a slight preview or the summary of what happened)

IT WAS THE MOST PAINFUL ANIME MOVIE I'VE EVER WATCHED. BUT TO THINK THAT THE GIRL NEVER REGRETTED ANYTHING THAT HAPPENED AND THAT EVERY MEMORY OF THEM WILL BE REMEMBERED, SHE SAID THAT. 😭😭 It made me happy that the girl thinks that way, but it made me so sad that the guy have to disappear. In tears I keep on mumbling why can't they have a happy ending? Why is it so unfair? I'm such a crybaby I know. But huhuhuhu, it just hurts.

But actually it can happen in real life right? There can't always be a happy ending. And people who leaves permanently cannot go back again even if both parties wants to be together. That's why, we should value each moment we have with the ones we love, make them feel we love them and that we care for them. Tell them 'I love you' everyday, and treat them the best way possible. So that just like Hotaru who lost Gin, we won't ever regret anything. Because we made them happy, and made them feel that they are special to us. :)) And so that the memories that we will carry someday, will be ones worth remembering. 😊😊

(Disclaimer: I don't own the video and the movie itself Yuki Midorikaea does.)

Thank for reading. Have a good day ahead fellas! :))

Ulog??

IT WAS THE MOST PAINFUL ANIME MOVIE I'VE EVER WATCHED.

Then you have neither seen Clannad, Anohana, or Shigatsu wa kimi no uso, Maid-chan thinks.

Yes, there can't always be an Happy End, and since Japan has no Hollywood that demands Happy Ends, you sometimes have tragic endings - or the ones in between, which could be called "Japanese endings".

Maid-chan approves of this review and has resteemed it!

Yeah, I wanted to watched Shigatsi wa kimi no uso but I cannot even handle Hotarubi no Mori e. How much more if I watch Shigatsu Wa Kimi No Uso. I'll die out of pain 😭 I'll still need to gather up courage to watch those. 😭

But thank you @maid-chan for reading! Have a good day! 😊

I know there was supposed to be some sort of moral lesson I was supposed to get out of that, but I did not get it one bit. The dude literally killed himself to catch a kid who was about to trip right? (I hope I remembered that right)

I think these stories that try to talk about the concept of inevitability seem really dumb. I hate that Love Live bands never become professional idols. I don't think the idea of inevitable chaos and destruction from Akira is that interesting.

It just seems to me that bad things are all solvable or preventable. So I can't agree with the idea that these characters should just bend over and ask for it gentle.

I think the most important thing is to capture the essence of emotions in the story. Worse than sad endings are the endings that had nothing to show. For me the ending is perfect, and more emotional impossible.

I know. The ending was perfectly beautiful. 😭It's just that, the feels. It hurts. The story was great and I loved it, so much that I cannot handle the ending itself. I love both of them, their story showed how beautiful love is, regardless their differences, of what they know might happen in the future, they still loved each other. 💕😭 I can't help but put my shoes in Hotaru's, I know she's happy because they've made precious memories when Gin was still around and that it will forever be remembered in her heart, the love they've shared, but I can't help but think that it must've been painful to her as well. Wahhhhh she must've missed Gin so much.

But thank you for reading @osef-navi. I really appreciate it. Have a good day! :)
