Maid-chan no Anime: Ani Tore EX!

Konnichiwa! Maid-chan desu!

Ani Tore(ning)? EX(ercise)? An anime about training? That was the first impression Maid-chan had about this work. But is that true?

In a way it is. The anime will show you a lot of “training”, meaning ways to move your body, including explanations how to do it right and what not to do.

The training is (in the first season) done by five girls, who want to become idols. In the second season one more joins. (Each episode has four minutes.)

In the first episode Maid-chan was not sure if the anime tries to be a help for girls that want to diet or if it is a fanservice show for boys. Later episodes have left no doubt about this.

The oldest girl, 17 years, is Shizuno. She has a pet called Andalucia who likes to play revealing pranks on her. Shizuno is a friendly, refined girl, the “Yamato Nadeshiko” type.

Quite the opposite is the “leading” girl Asami, 16 years old.

Asami is not the brightest lamp in the shop but good at sports. Full of energy she drags the other girls towards their goal: Being an idol! For which, in this series, you need to do a lot training but no singing, strangely.

The other 16 year old girl is Akiko.

Sorry, Maid-chan of course means Shion, because that girl is in reality a demon coming from hell to darken the light of the world with her dance. Or so she says. And her working at a store is just a cover, of course.

Yu is not only the shyest megane girl of the bunch but also the one that needs the training the most, desu. She likes to end her sentences with “desu”, desu.

The youngest of the original 5 is Eri.

As the twin blonde pigtails indicate, she is a tsundere. Eri also does her training in the train, when she is going or coming from school. A young girl in a train moaning, in the middle of some Sarariman...

The newest and youngest addition to the group is Sakura.

Sakura behaves like she is the queen of a country. She still allows you to join her in her training, isn’t that nice? Maid-chan often wanted to dump a bucket of water over her head, maybe that would have helped with her attitude.

Anyway, every episode shows you one or two girls doing one or two types of training with ten repetitions. The girls normally talk a bit about themselves during their workout before they finish their training with a certain… orgasmic cheer.

Conclusion

Since every episode only has four minutes, there is not much of story going on. Not that story or character deepness is the core of this work.

You are not watching this because of the training itself. You have half a dozen type-casted, cute young girls moving their often scarcely clad body in front of your lustful eyes and that is why you watch this anime. Yes, Maid-chan knows about you and your fantasies! How? Simple. Look at this screenshot:

Where did you look at? The Chibi on the right explaining the training unit, or the mizugi Asami? See!
No sense in trying to lie, Maid-chan has eye-tracked you!

But maybe because of this you might end up raising your fat otaku ass from the couch and actually doing the training together with the girls? Maid-chan doubts that, but won’t stop you, of course. Basic human instincts can be a strong motivator, Maid-chan knows.

This is the most motivating scene then.

All in all Maid-chan does not see a big merit in watching this anime and only gives 6/10 points.
