Some things happen because of destiny

Kasumi is beginning her high school days while looking for what reminds her of the brightness of that starry sky she saw as a child, luckily for her her destiny leads her to meet a guitar and a concert hall where after listening and seeing shine a group of girls discovers that which reminds him of that feeling he felt a long time ago, that is why he decides to learn to play the guitar and form his own band, making it his goal to play in that concert hall called SPACE.

At first the story seems simple but from the first chapter we can find much attraction within this musical anime, it is common in animes of this nature to find a colorful and bright visual section, BanG shows its charm from the beginning and clear support for its protagonist which is a pretty cute girl, cheerful, energetic and impulsive.

Kasumi is a character that usually catches you with its charm and joy, as a character is quite friendly and empathize quickly with her, her contagious joy achieves a click with you, is the character that seeks what you are passionate about and that matches your crazy personality and the music ends up being that hobby that goes perfect with her. In the beginning we can see that this adorable character makes friends very quickly because of his personality, well and since we have a character with these characteristics we balance the story with someone like Arisa, the tsundere girl who wants to put a little pause the story and lower the levels to Kasumi, this relationship becomes important because one of the things that make BanG enjoyable are those comical moments that go through these 2 characters, opposite poles that interact and create quite funny situations.

Kasumi and her crazy personality help to unite the rest of the main cast, girls like Otae, Rimi and Saya will finish by completing the group and thus form Poppin Party. Of course, all this with its small obstacles, but; impulsive personality, crazy and with a view to your goals of our protagonist will help everything to go well and is that really she is the key piece for this group to join.

Something that likes this anime is that the musical theme is always the main objective, unlike cases such as K-ON that seemed to go to a second or third level here, Arisa finds friends with whom to share and touch, Rimi manages to overcome her fear of playing in public, Otae seeks just like Kasumi to achieve her goal of playing in SPACE and Saya manages to recover part of her lost youth, although for good reasons and giving up many things she manages to regain her path and recover her passion for the music.

Their characters despite the duration of the anime are developed in a good way, we can see that the main cast is a classic group of girls with personalities that distinguish them from each other and usually combine quite well, a group of girls with their problems but through of music come together and create a special bond. As all groups will have their complicated moments, there are no big conflicts where they have to find great solutions, these are mostly personal situations that some of their characters will have to deal with. The theme of friendship is something we clearly see here, in problematic situations there is always the support of a character to another, you can say that the characters who have a problem out of it with a little nudge.

Although up to this point you can see that there are happy times and many other complicated BanG shows another important situation during its history and is the relationship between the protagonist and the owner of SPACE. This shows Kasumi that enthusiasm is not enough to play music but really feel it and as leader of the band transmit that security to the whole group, it can be said that it is a moment where the anime makes see the reality of the protagonist and reminds her It must be a joint effort.

Music is something magical, exciting and it is here where you really want to transmit it through this relationship between the owner and the protagonist, it is one of those things that in my opinion the anime knows how to transmit correctly.

Continuing with the development and the final part of the anime, the owner is about to close SPACE, implying that she already gave everything she could and this would cause our beloved Poppin Party girls to set themselves the goal of striving hard to reach the long-awaited opportunity to play in SPACE, this would lead to the effort of the protagonist and that there would be consequences, but finally with the support of her friends she manages to overcome adversity by giving back a bit of what she gave them to finally reach her goal of playing together

Although the anime has its good points it has some others where it could be said that it has its curious things, starting with the quick learning of the protagonist, it was only in a small span of a couple of months since it began until its presentation in SPACE and there is to keep in mind certain things like she did not know how to play guitar or the chords. Nor should we forget that she sang and played at the same time which is something that requires a lot of skill and great coordination, for more talent or quick learning that would have taken more time to achieve what she did in that period, is something curious and that it could be taken as the issue of handling time in the anime was not really raised.

In terms of music we can say that it has a somewhat short repertoire but that does not mean it is bad, its themes are not so many but they are quite memorable and enjoyable which makes it compensate a little in this regard, they are good topics that they will keep in your head for a while.

While the anime complies with having an argument, development, conflicts and solutions and an end the duration makes things rush, something that is common to see in anime of short duration and maybe that's why there are some people who do not like this, but nevertheless; I think that despite this it is better than many others with the same problem and that is because you do not waste time with filler chapters, each chapter is important as the plot unfolds and you do not see what you want. put more elements that would have hindered everything.

What conclusions can be drawn from this anime?

BanG Dream! is a simple anime that takes advantage of its elements to excel over some others of its kind, has a cast of characters that accompany the story and in turn interact in a good way, there are no filler chapters and in each of these the theme never it is on the side

The anime has its dramatic and comical touch, how it has been handled is acceptable. It is not an anime that presents major conflicts and have to look for complex solutions, it seems more that this seeks to demonstrate that sometimes it requires support to overcome some situations and the importance of working as a team to achieve a goal.

This complies with being entertaining, it is a good pastime and it is easy to digest. It has its details and curious things as mentioned above, although they are small details that may be more like a fact than an error in itself.

We look forward to more seasons of our beloved Bandori.
