Ever since then My Hero Academia has become one of the most popular anime tv shows that has attracted both anime and non anime viewers where they tackle problems in a world which 80% of the population is superhuman.
The main character Deku, belongs to other 20% where he doesn't have any sort of quirk or power and he is bullied a lot, like nearly all superhero origin stories. However this differs from the gritty dark stories and offers us the viewer something that has been missing in many Marvel and DC comics, movies and tv shows.
Heart, warmth, soul and aspiration
This series hits on every one of those notes and when it does boy does it it leave you in tears, because what it does that a lot of other superheroes stories fail to do is define what a hero is.The author does it well to introduce news characters within the story and explains their views of what a hero is and his primary role in society, he does not only touch upon the subject of what a hero's duty is towards society but what would happen if being a hero became a full time job for people.
In this series we see that heroes don't care about saving people nor do they care about being an inspiration to people, currently being a hero is something kids strive towards to be in a better position is society. Not only that, the author also explains the discrimination of various powers people possess. If you possess a stronger and cooler power you are automatically deemed worthy of becoming a hero, whereas if your not then you go down the ladder.

Being told from the person you admire that most that you can reach you dreams is something only a few of us get to experience and the music just adds that emotional feeling that was missing.
This show proves at every step to reach for you dreams and work hard, but never stop dreaming because ultimately thats what gives us a purpose in life.
