Sword Art Online: Alicization

I have been a fan of the Sword Art Online anime series since its release back in 2012 and i have just become aware that a new season exists called Sword Art Online: Alicization this being the 3rd season not including the spin-off Sword Art Online: Gun Gale.

As of writing i have just gotten through the first episode which is 45 minutes long and i am very impressed with it so far, on first impressions it can be seen that no corners were cut in terms of animation as i find myself pausing it just to get a good look at the environment.

This season sees the return of some familiar faces like Kazuto "Kirito" Kirigaya though my memory is continuously being jogged as i watch, the anime itself was released in October and there are so far 8 episodes which is great as i get to watch them all for the first time.
