Hello dear steemians!

This anime series aired in Japan between January and March 2016, also made a drama, with 12 episodes are based on the manga of mystery, intrigue and fantasy of the same title: "Boku dake ga inai machi" (The city where I just missed) .

The manga began to be published in the monthly magazine "seinen" of the Kadokawa publishing house, Young Ace, since 2012; reaching 8 compilation volumes, plus an additional volume, published in 2016 along with an edition of it in light novel format. The manga, among other recognitions, won 2nd place in the 2014 Manga Taishō Awards, out of 10 nominees.

In addition to the drama, broadcast by Netflix in almost everyone this winter of 2017/18, the franchise also has a film version with characters of flesh and blood released in March 2016.

The anime, produced by the impeccable A-1 Pictures studios, is a series that captures you from start to finish. Rare is the day that I see more than one episode of the same series. But with this I could not contain myself in seeing two each day.

They are only 12 episodes that immerse you in a well-told story of suspense.

Episode 11 has a surprising touch in terms of production.

With details that appear, or perhaps it would be better to say, they do not appear in the initial opening; or, rather, both things equally. And I do not say anything else to not give clues.

The plot begins in the year 2006 revolving around Satoru Fujinuma, an aspiring mangaka who must work distributing pizza to survive in Funabashi, very close to Tokyo, in the prefecture of Chiba.

Satoru has a strange involuntary power that shows him future events so that, if he is very alert, he will be able to deduce what will happen and resolve events or accidents when returning a few minutes back in the past.

But a serious event related to serial murders will take Satoru back to the years of his childhood; until the year 63 of the Shōwa era, 1988. When he lived in his hometown of Hokkaidō, Tomakomai.

Little by little Satoru remembers those almost forgotten times and tries to avoid at all costs that a classmate, Kayo, becomes the first of a list of mysterious disappearances that existed at the time.

The plot is highly intriguing, and the chosen scenario accompanies very well the sordid situations that arise.

The drawing and animation is excellent. And the action, and mysteries resolved little by little in the series are worth much enjoy.

As if that were not enough, the unparalleled Yuki Kajiura has been responsible for providing the soundtrack that multiplied by a thousand emotions that distills the entire anime.
