Let's start with his synopsis:

Kousei Arima was a famous and prodigious pianist at a young age due to the daily piano practices he performed with his mother to please her desire. Her mother, who was also her teacher, died from an illness that kept her hospitalized for most of Kousei's childhood. Due to her death and her remorse for leaving her alone, Kousei had an emotional breakdown while playing in a piano competition at the age of eleven. As a result, Kousei is unable to play the piano because as he plays a piece of music, the sound of the keys is turned off to the extent that he does not hear it, even if he has no hearing problems. Since then, Kousei has seen the monotonous, colorless world and has abandoned both music and piano.

Two years later, he attends high school with his childhood friends Tsubaki Sawabe and Ryota Watari, until one day a strange girl appears in his life and changes everything. Kaori Miyazono, a beautiful and extroverted violinist without remorse, who in her musical style reflects her personality, her way of feeling and her deep desire to be remembered by the public through music. Kaori helps him return to the world of music and shows him that it should be free and unpredictable, expressing his feelings to the audience, unlike the structured and rigid style Kousei was accustomed to.

Characters:

Kōusei Arima:

Arima is a student who as a child played the piano in an excellent way, with a perfect precision so much so that he was called the Human Metronome, for this great precision won many competitions. She loses the ability to play the piano after her mother, who was also her piano teacher, died of illness. He's a little shy about talking and meeting new people, but with his childhood friends he's not. She spends time and plays the piano again due to the influence of Kaori Miyazono to become her partner during competitions.

Kaori Miyazono:

Kaori is Tsubaki's classmate, an extroverted violinist who had received much criticism from the jury because of her refusal to follow the score to the letter, but is favored by the audience. Kaori met Kosei when he asked Tsubaki to arrange an appointment with Watari. Kaori finally convinces Kosei to play the piano again, first as his companion and then in a piano competition.

Tsubaki Sawabe:

Tsubaki is a childhood friend of Kosei and her neighbor, whom she treats as a younger brother. He is an athlete and a member of the school's softball club. Often dismayed by Kosei's inability to overcome her mother's death, she tries to get him to play the piano again to make a clear decision about her future.

Ryōta Watari:

Ryota is a childhood friend of Kosei and Tsubaki, and is also the captain of the school's football team. It is extremely popular with girls and a womanizer, who are usually treated with a mellow attitude. Even though he has a girlfriend, he's still flirting with girls.

Animation: A-1 Pictures

In my opinion the animation is beautiful, a very good image quality, light effects very well done, details that at first sight are not seen but give a more welcoming aura. Character design is good. There are some scenes that should have improved a bit but it was still excellent.

My Opinion:

An anime that really hooks, likes it very much if you look for a Sh? jo, the drama is perfect, the comic scenes are where they should be to avoid making such a heavy drama, there are scenes that really tire because they repeat them on certain occasions. It's a somewhat sad anime, especially the end, but still love everything about this anime, its characters, its animation, its effects, its drawings, its drama, its plot......... Everything.
