Fun and meta. These are the words that come to mind after watching this Anime. I especially liked the game segments where the characters play tabletop games. It was genuinely fun~

The struggles of authors everywhere, was also well conveyed, although I would argue that authors in Japan have it better than pretty much anywhere else. I have been surprised at how many written works and manga by new(er) authors, have been adapted up the value chain into anime and games. The last game the MC and friends play includes a reference to net-publishing, and how it is the most rewarding but only in a non-financial way. I found this interesting because self-publishing online is one of the serious use cases for Steemit. It's also something I want to try my hand at if I ever find the will. Another interesting theme, is the creator's dilemma of constructed image/persona for the sake of popularity or ACTING VS. AUTHENTICITY. Two of the author's depicted fall completely on the authenticity side, while the frequent GM falls on the acting side. The twist was that even when acting, you have to be motivated enough to do it, and money often isn't enough by itself. I really identified with this struggle, and find myself falling on the authenticity side of the coin more than not, and when I act, it's because I want to act that way, so in a way, the character I play when acting is just another side of my authentic self... psychology aside, Imouto sae Ireba Ii is fun, watch it!
