Anime: Violet evergarden

Kyoto animation never fails to make anime aesthetically beautiful, I will definitely give that studio. It was one of the most beautiful first episodes I've ever seen, from character design to animation to back drops.
It's based on a very new light novel series, so I'm pretty sure we will not reach any conclusions in this anime series. But anyway, I'm excited! I hope there's some twist - that major does not die as many assume but better with amnesia (and thus no longer the same person) or maybe even physically disabled forever.
What do you guys think about the first episode?
just watched Ep1.. looks promising.. but can't tell anything before 3rd episode
