I am one of the billions to trillions fans of the longest running anime in Japan, One Piece. I admit and I am very proud to say that I go crazy with this masterpiece. It may sound overacting but I couldn't put in words how deeply fond am I into this story. I just woke up one day that I found myself craving for more episodes to watch and is being impatient waiting for new episode to be release.
I was so happy, extremely happy when @fycee initiated an anime challenge, asking participants to name their favorite childhood days anime. It was a great idea where steemians including me enjoyed reminiscing old days and shared our thoughts about our choice. It was really fun and also a good way to interact with one another. I was glad to find people who shares common interest when it comes to Anime.
It was two months ago since I first talk about my craze for this Anime My Collection: My First Set of One Piece Action Figure! Yey!!!. It was @fycee and his contest who motivates me to write another article about it.
This anime is a very long one having 800+ episodes and counting (animated) and 900+ and counting on Manga (Comics in Japan) and has so many best scenes to choose with. But I wanted to share you some of the saddest parts of this anime that really made me cry.
1. Nico Robin Begs Strawhat Pirates to Save Her
Robin was an antagonist when she first showed up in the story. She boarded the Strawhat's ship after Luffy defeated the man he used to work with. In this episode, I felt really sorry about Robin. She was just a kid when she was being chased by the government and been put under one of the most wanted in the world. She was the only one alive in their clan. She is an archaeologist. She used to live alone and she tags along to those people who can bring her to those stones called Poneglyphs where text about history were engraved. She never had a friend. Until one day she was caught by the government and was about to get executed. The Straw Hat pirates bet their lives to save her. She self pitied at first because she thought that she doesn't deserve to live. But when she get to know the Straw Hat Pirates and sailed with them, she felt that she finally found friends. That's why she changed her mind and shouted her heart out how much she wanted to live and travel with the Straw Hats crew.
2. Princess Vivi and Strawhats Pirate departure in Alabasta
Vivi was a princess from a royal family in their country Alabasta, but her town was in chaos that time being ruled by the antagonist named Crocodile. She had no choice but to follow Crocodile's orders even if it is against her will because her country was in the hands of a strong enemy. She happened to crossed path with the Straw Hat pirates and later on asked for help from the crew to save her country. When her country was finally saved and Crocodile got defeated, Straw Hat Pirates had to leave Alabasta asap as they are being chased by the world government. Vivi became friends with the crew and she really wanted to sail with them. But she can't because she was a princess and her country needs her. She ran to catch her friends but the ship sailed already and a bit far when she got from the edge of their land. She haven't say goodbye to them and even if how loud her voice was, the crew couldn't hear what she was saying so she use a megaphone like instrument. Her voice was being heard not only by the crew, but the whole people in Alabasta as well, including the Marines, an underlings of the government whom are running after the crew. Vivi asked the crew if they can still be friends and they answered through a gesture so that Marines won't suspect Vivi that she was an accomplice of the crew. Straw Hat pirates raises their hands showing the X marked on their arms that they put before reaching Alabasta in order to identify who's the real ally from the enemy. Showing that marked also means yes to everything that Vivi asked. The crew are still Vivi's friend.
3. Nami Begging to Luffy to save her hometown from the hands of an Enemy
Nami was tagged as a Cat Burglar, she was one of the best thief in the story. Behind her crime, she has a reason why she's doing it. When she was young she was been kidnapped and was working with Arlong because of her talent in drawing Map. Arlong was ruling Nami's village that time. They have a deal that if she'd be able to gave Arlong the amount agreed, she will free her and her village. She was trying to buy back her hometown that's why she stole money, gold and treasures if she has the chance. Nami wanted to do it all by her self and never wanted to ask for help from anyone in the town. Little did she know, the townspeople knows the burden she was carrying. And they can't do anything about it. When she almost reached the certain money to buy her village back, her treasure has been stolen. She suspected that it was Arlong whose behind of her stolen treasure. She lost all of her hope. She was breaking down. She don't know what to do. It was the first time I cried while watching this anime. It was a very tearful episode for me. She cried for help to Luffy to save the town from Arlong and his subordinates. Finally she has someone she can count on to freed their village. Luffy defeated Arlong and Nami and her hometown was now free from Arlong's cruelty and violence. From then on Nami sailed with the crew and became a Navigator. She dreams to map the world.
4. Saying Goodbye to Straw Hats first Pirate Ship Going Merry
The second time I cried so hard was because of this episode. The first Pirate Ship of the Straw Hat pirates was named Going Merry. They sailed with it for a very long time. They have so many treasured memories with the ship. Since they don't have a shipwright that time, every time Merry got broke in the battle they've been through, Merry gets only a minimal repair. Due to the damage the ship has gotten in their long journey, the ship became weak and couldn't sail with them anymore. Merry was tired. And then there was a scene that the crew was in trouble and they had to escape but they don't know how. Merry rescued the crew. Even if how broke the ship was, Merry manage to sail again in order to save the crew. It was Merry's voice telling the crew to jump on the sea. For the last time, Merry sailed and save all of them. If it wasn't for Merry, Straw Hats pirate won't be alive. Although the ship wanted to travel with them a little longer, she can't do it anymore. The time came that they have to say goodbye to Merry. The crew burned their ship. When the ship was on fire, Merry was thanking them while the crew was crying asking for forgiveness for all the damages they had caused the ship to wrecked. Merry was very happy that she had a great time sailing with the crew. After loosing the first ship, a Shipwright made them a new ship called Thousand Sunny, that shipwright named Franky also joined their crew.
5. Ace Death in Marineford
This is forever will be the saddest part for me. And as I've mentioned in the comment I left in @fycee 's contest, I don't know if I can move on from this. Ace was the eldest brother of Luffy, they made good memories when they were young. Ace sailed first on the sea and later on followed by Luffy. Ace was strong. He always worried about his youngest brother. In their journey in Alabasta, Ace happened to bumped with the Straw Hat Pirates and the two brothers met. It was a very short meeting. The next time they met was when Ace was captured by the marines and was scheduled to be executed. Luffy tried to save his brother along with the people who loves Ace. A lot of strong pirates was there and also lots of strong Marine and Government officer was also there.
That episode was really exciting. It was said to be the war of the best. Even if how many strong enemy had go on Luffy's way, he successfully save Ace with the help of Ace's friends. I was so happy that Ace was free. My heart was jumping in joy. But I was so shocked to the next scene. Luffy was supposed to get punched by one of the strongest Marine and Ace saved him. Ace died. I didn't see that coming and I was like asking WHY? This can't be happening. He was already saved but how did the author let him die in an instant. I was in full of regret just like Luffy was. Luffy cried a river and so do I. Every time I remember this scene I wanted to talk to the author and ask him to explain why did he let Ace died? But then, as the saying goes, everything happens with a reason. But still, this made me sad. Very very sad.
Yes the number 5!
Luffy's death. Apparently the whole clip itself is really sad. But it's you that followed the story from one episode to another which makes it really really tear-blasting and heart-breaking episode!
I could definitely relate since OMG if you just have watched A Dog of Flanders, and the saddest ending scene ever will just literally put you in tears for a long period of time.
Though as what u have shared with you on my One-Piece video clip reaction post, I find it really amazing! To think it was just one character from the main group. But then I was totally amazed because it hooked me to watch some further episode to another. And ironically, I was like wanting to watch more. So yeah! Good job sharing that one with me! Hehehe.
I thought you were gonna share a video clip?

Hello! Sorry! It was ace. Yes. Haha.
The clip that I have seen was Zoro!
For now react to video clips that made you want to watch the NEXT EPISODE so badly!
That waiting for another 24 hours for the next episode seems excruciating hard for you see the next episode. Will wait for it then.
Then react to it through a post like what you did here.
