Hi Steemians, it's such a long time since I've been active on Steemit :< I was too busy with my highschool's entrance exams and it stressed me out so much that I need to quit every social medias. Also, today I want to introduce to you guys one anime serie that I really enjoy and have been rewatching for several times. It's "Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun" (English translation: Monthly Girls's Nozaki-kun). So here are some main informations that you guys may or may not know about the anime serie:

Summary : Sakura Chiyo is a highschool girl who has a crush on her schoolmate Umetarou Nozaki. On the last day of school, she decided to confess to him all her feelings and all immediately, he gave her an autograph of his own. She didn't know what was happening and said that she always wants to be with him. Nozaki agreed and invited Sakura to his house and has her help on some manga drawings. At that moment, she discovered that Nozaki was actually a famous shoujo manga mangaka (a person who draws manga for girls) named Sakiko Yumeno. She was shocked at first but then accepted to be an assistant in order to be as close as possible to him. As they work on his manga, they encounter other schoolmates who gave them inspiration for characters in their stories. 

                                              

 B) Plot and characters.
 

1. Plot: Adapted from a manga with the same name by a female mangaka names Izumi Tsubaki, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun was a comedic genres anime with full of funny events surrounding two main characters (Sakura Chiyo and Nozaki). It might includes the "romance" tag but not at all. I know that you guys have already watched romantic films and romantic mangas and everytime it still gets you right in the heart and not forget to make you "awwwww". But imagine, if the romantic scenes changed a bit, would it still makes you "awww" or makes you laugh out loud? The answers are hilarity, let Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun answers it for you!

First, talking about characters, you guys must've seen this type of person in every typical shoujo animes: He is goodlooking, he has good communication skills, he gets girls, he is the prince of the school...You will also find that one character in Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun...with a different gender- Kashima Yuu. I know it's interesting, but let not go deep into the details because I will talk about she carefully later on. 

There aren't much dramas or intense circumstances in the serie, it sticks with the "slice of life" style of the manga, the plot in general is simple and mostly are the normal cases in the background for the characters to interact.  
This anime is not really the right type for people who likes to watch romantic scenes and cheesy lines, it's more like a parody view of shoujo manga/anime in general. But however, it gives you lots of laugh and like really, it's entertaining. However, I didn't really enjoy the open ending. It didn't go with the flow of the whole serie. I don't want to spoil, you guys should definitely check the anime out to know about it!!! 

On the scale from 1-10, I would give the plot an 8. It's good in general, plus a new style of anime (Mixture of romance and comedic), I love it! 

                                            

2. Characters: 

 One of the main reasons why Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun is one of the best comedy anime that you must check out is because of the variety of the character. Each of them represents different types of person on a shoujo manga and don't forget to "contribute" to the anime a lot of funny scenes! 

 I just hate that I can't rate 11 for the role of the characters because it's really the best part of the anime. I was really impressed how the author can be such creative to come up with the personalities of every characters and match them up together. It's really fun to just sitting there, grab a big popcorn box and watch them!!! 

                                               

 In conclusion: 

This is a great anime series for people who enjoy the genre comedy and just want to chill out after a hard day at school/work. It's relaxing, cute and also really funny and will make you laugh out loud throughout the series. You should grab a bunch of friends and watch this together, it'd be better I promise!! 

In total, I would rate this anime 9.0. I really want to give it a 10 but really I can't stand the ending. It didn't go with the flow of the anime and give me kind of a sad and regret feelings. But anyways, this is still a good anime!!! ٩(。•́‿•̀。)۶
