A Happy birthday to me, oh I mean a happy STEEMIT birthday to me.

365days ago I joined this great and interesting community with the hope of exploring the goodness buried within its heart. I excelled but at a slow pace and I am glad to be a year old on STEEMIT.

On that day, 276 individuals joined this wonderful platform and only a few keep the STEEM hot and running with original and quality posts. I must say, folks, I am more than happy to be among the few active ones.

With the help of some amazing and wonderful steemians like @neoxian, @gbenga, @infovore @maryfavour, @steve1122, @illuminatus, @ehiboss, @honourmaus, @surpassinggoogle< hormorhk18, @musteethany, @sallyquin and my fiance @zanny, I have swum from the shallow part of the ocean and now, I am chilling with other fishes at the center of the ocean.

Oh, before I continue.

@neoxian isn't just a shark like he would have preferred that I can move on with this post of mine without saying a few words about him.
This shark is indeed the predator. He is certain and precise about his moves about anything and these were all possible because he is the Bank of Neoxian.

@neoxian knew I was a fish looking for a bigger fish to swim with in order to grow. He picked interest in me and that was it. We became friends.

@gbenga was a genius with the introduction of STEEMIT to me. Words can't express my gratitude to him but I will say "Thanks blood for showing me the path to success.

@Maryfavour is that woman that stood by me when everyone gat no time for me. She is my fairy godmother.

@steve1122...aahhn You all know our story, let's skip the talks. He is here and I am here.

There have been a lot of ups and downs in my journey so far and I am still strong and pushing on with my aim of becoming more than just a steemian but a family to those that want it.

Hahahaha...I just remembered some few moments about my blogging history on this platform.

I will like to share those moments with you from my introductory post down to my present status.

• The new guy:

  
  I have come across a lot of introduction posts recently but I keep wondering if they are really new to a platform like this. Some introduction posts look more presentable than many people's real blog posts and when I say people, I mean already established steemians.
  The new guy? What in the hell was I thinking?
  I initially thought I was killing my introduction post with tons cool writeups but I never knew I was fooling myself. Please, when you read that post of mine, do not laugh to your satisfaction.

• Imaging:

  
  That same post I guess. Uploading image(s) to my write-up was indeed hard for a starter like me. I always want to upload my image(s) to my write-up like others do and I want it to display on the left side of my post heading before you click the post to read. instead, I end up filling the full image address to my write-up and expect it to display.
  

  Nigger, you dummbbb.

• Spacing:

  
  Holly molly, I don't wanna talk about this. If you wanna know a thing or two about this, ask me in the comment section.

• Not welcomed:
  That moment you tell everyone that you are home but you got the sound of a dying cricket.

  Yeah, you got that

  After a series of upvotes on my introduction, no one could welcome me on board not even the famous @bottymcbotface that welcomed many users on board with tips. A comment would have been appreciated but everything was empty, even the reward section of the post.

  • Dusts votes:

    
    My piece of advice to newbies. "Do not pray for newbies like you to come around to upvote your piece of a post". You will get a wrong feeling about posting. You will even be lost at some point with the massive number of upvotes with no dime to show for it.

  • I just want my post to get rewards at all cost:

    
    Arab money I guess. I have tried many ways to earn rewards on my posts but every effort of mine faded into a thin waste of data and time air. While I was sleeping in the night, I had the vision to employ another language to write with. I employed the Arabic language and everything started looking promising. I became a king in another world. @donkeypong made a jest of me though but I laughed over it.

  • My MSP days:

    
    Thank God that I came across MSP. The unforgetable bot. The sign with link to get numerous upvotes with less than 1$ reward. I will not criticise this bot because it has help me gow and I appreciate the good work of @aggroed.

  The above are some of my experiences on STEEMIT before today. I hope to come across more interesting happenings as we STEEM on.
