There lived an ant in a forest. That ant had built his house on the branch of a tree. The ants would go to the ground every morning in search of food and return to their home on the tree in the evening. A river used to flow by the side of this tree. One morning when the ant was going down to the ground in search of food, the ant slipped and fell into the river. Then a pigeon noticed that ant. He saw that the ant was trying hard to save its life. He immediately plucked a leaf from a tree and threw it near the ant. The ant quickly climbed onto the leaf and, touching its front legs together, thanked the pigeon and the pigeon also bowed its head and looked towards the ant. After a few days a hunter came to the forest. The hunter threw some grains on the ground and spread his net over it. He silently waited for some bird to get caught in the net. The same ant whose life the pigeon had saved was passing by. He saw all the preparations of the hunter and the ant saw the same pigeon which had saved his life. Slowly descending to get caught in the net. The ant immediately moved forward and bit the hunter's feet so badly that a scream came out of the hunter's mouth and the hunter started abusing loudly. Then the pigeon also caught sight of the hunter. Now the pigeon had understood the whole thing and immediately flew away to save its life and the ant also started on its way.
