Who Were the First North Americans?

In grade school, the running theory was that an Asiatic people crossed the Bering Strait to North America. All Native Americans were therefore their descendants.     They do sort of look Oriental.

      "Oriental" refers to furniture. I think the term you want is "East Asian."
